I enjoy going here quite often for a hot fresh breakfast. This place never disappoints. Great menu with lots of options and very decent prices. I never had to wait in line, they are very efficient with their service.

Delicious and well-priced sandwiches with generous portions! You can even get them served over tater tots or arugula, which is such a fun option. They also offer breakfast sandwiches, which is amazing since there are so few breakfast spots on the island. Great value overall! The pickup process is super easy, and there's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors--perfect for summer days. A fantastic addition to the island dining scene!

So first how can you not give a place a try when Valhalla is in their name. Was automatically greeted before the door closed behind me, super friend, and super clean and small/medium size restaurant size. My stomach is a fat man on the inside so I went with the Big Lieutenant and the Mrs went with the Harvest Bowl. Had to take it to go but when I was able to start eating my sandwich the bottom of the bread got a little too soggy from how juicy the pulled pork was or maybe it was the coleslaw. Every bite was delicious as you could taste something different every bite, from the apple jalapeño coleslaw, ham, pulled pork, and the chipotle bbq. You need to grab a fork or continue to get your finger messy as at some point I would say a quarter of the sandwich will end on your plate, great way to finish off the tater tots. The Mrs loved every bite of her harvest bowl and the sauce that came with it. So strong agree a must stop while on Mercer Island.

4.6/5 Wow, just came across this place on Instagram. It was a post about their new "thankgetting" sandwich. The funny thing is, this came fresh after me watching an episode of friends where someone eats Ross's thanksgiving sandwich (the moist maker lol). The algorithm must have heard me and I'm glad it did. This place scratched the moist maker itch. Ambiance - just a pick up counter, open kitchen in the back and a handful of seats. Service - only interact when ordering or dropping off food. She was nice and friendly. Food - these are some FIRE sandwiches. Mine had a turkey, BACON, gravy, cranberries and a stuffing "patty" and it was delicious. These aren't clean sandwiches lol, you will make a mess, but so worth it. The tots were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and it paired well with their chipotle mayo. I also had a cup of their tomato soup which was actually one of the better ones I've had. No complaints about the food. This is gonna be a new staple for me. My only complaint is their menu is HUGE, gonna take awhile to try everything, but I look forward to it lol.

Solid sandwich place. Tater tots are a plus! Enjoyed both the sandwiches and the Chipotle Mac salad. They have a a good amount of seating and the service was good. Overall a nice place to grab lunch or dinner.

My family and I stopped by to get sandwiches to bring to Luther Burbank Park. This was our first time trying Valhalla Sandwiches and we're excited for a nice picnic in the park. We ordered online ahead of time and got the CARNE ASADA TORTA and the BUDDHA CALL sandwich. The CARNE ASADA TORTA had carne asada, jack cheese, pickled onions, avocado, salsa verde, chipotle mayo and cilantro on a telera roll. The Mexican flavors were all there, but there wasn't a whole lot of meat and hard to find the meat as it was covered with sauce and onions. The BUDDHA CALL had roasted sweet potato, sauteed spinach, roasted red peppers, crimini mushrooms, manchego cheese, and garlic tahini on a telera roll. This sandwich was our favorite out of the two as it was packed with sweet roasted veggies and the machengo and tahini complemented the veggies well. Make sure to bring extra napkins because these sandwiches are extremely SAUCY- you MUST like sauce and condiments to enjoy these sandwiches. Overall, I would say Valhalla is on par with Homegrown, but perhaps with more variety and unique creations. 4/5 for sandwiches

i'm here for the customization of their sandwiches! if you're ordering online, pick your poison (aka choose your sandwich) and scroll down to the section where you can add or subtract individual ingredients. take care of those preferences and continue down to the bottom. in the gluten free section, you can choose half tot half arugula bowl and that's where the angels start singing! i opted for the shrimp half tot, half arugula with hot peppers and pickled onions and it was a flavor explosion and a hefty serving which easily filled me up at midday. online ordering and payment were a snap and pickup was as easy as walking in and stating my name. a solid place to suggest for a group since the customization between bowls or sandwiches or half/half allows for lots of happy, full folks when it's all said and done.

This is a great sandwich shop on mercer island. I tried their Big Tahuna Sandwich - it tasted delicious. The staff is super friendly here and helps you out with the order and gets your food to the table when ready. Highly recommend this spot when you're on mercer island.
